The 2nd
painting by David2 of Procida, an island off the coast of Naples, Italy. Its name is rooted in Latin and Ancient Greek which means “poured out”. That’s the Santuario Santa Maria delle Grazie Incoronata, amidst the island’s structures which often feature vibrant and pastel-colored facades. The architecture is influenced by a mix of Mediterranean styles, with elements of Italian coastal design. Numerous writers and filmmakers have set their projects in Procida. No wonder it was designated as Italy’s Capital of Culture in 2022.
